Another busy weekend solving more and more corporate iphone activesync issues around the World. YES, our international business is picking up again. Most are contacting us via Skype, but others are opting to contact us via the phone 480.440.4650.

<img style="border-style: none;" src="http://download.skype.com/share/skypebuttons/buttons/call_green_white_124x52.png" alt="iPhone Activesync"width="68" height="31" />

The issues are different for each company, but the THEME is the same.

Battle for weeks with no solution for the dreaded iphone activesync.

These iPhone and Exchange users are persistant in their efforts to find a solution at ALL COST.

Contact Apple Technical Support - Receive a polite well trained counselor who puts them on hold for 5 minutes — (Suggesting that they are referring your problem to senior engineers) then routes the caller to a web page to read an installation document that informs the user of steps already known. Nice try.

Search Google – 1,000+ Posts. Reading through many sites who just “hijack” technical information to make the appearance that their site is legitimate. YET, the intention of the site is to sell them more BLING BLING for their iphone, instead of solving their iphone activesync issue. We did are own searching recently and we were chuckling over the fact that 98% of the post would not even get you close to a solution. Remember to backup your system before trying some of these posts. We have seen some very questionable suggestions that might create you a Bigger mess then you were bargaining for.

Phone a Friend - Contact all of your friends – technicians in your circle. You will be amazed on the suggestions. Some will suggest going to 2007, because 2003 does not support iPhone (WRONG). Some will suggest getting a legitimate certificate from Verisign (WRONG AGAIN).

Lets face it NONEof these corporate giants (Apple / AT&T / Rogers / O2 / Vodafone / want your iPhone activesync and Exchange working. Otherwise, they would have provided you some simple instructions to follow. We are here to fulfill this VOID.

We are seeking an increase in business from other Computer Repair companies as well. Yes, the smart ones contact us, because working on these issues for hours and hours without the ability to bill out for any of these extra hours.

How do you bill a customer $950 for an iPhone Install that took 10 hours to fix?

Well, we don’t even charge $950 for an iPhone – Microsoft Exchange Server fix. TechnoKOZ charges a FLAT rate FEE of $175.

But, this is an interesting question for a business owner or an IT Computer Repair Company to answer. What is my time really worth? We typically hear the statement “Wow! This was the best $175.00 I have spent in a long time!!! — and – There was no way I was going to figure this out. Where did you come up with this solution?

We aren’t iPhone and Exchange ActiveSync experts by chance. YES, we have seen all types of issues and condition of the Exchange 2003 System. Windows 2003 SBS, Windows 2003 Standard, Window 2003 Enterprise, Windows 2003 Data Center, and Exchange Cluster arrangements – Front End / Back End situations as well.

Are you still battling this iPhone activesync issue?

We have set the “bar” when it comes to quality remote technical support. We firmly believe in exceeding the bar when it comes to all facets of operating a Professional/ Managed Computer Services company. LinkedIn gives us the opportunity to communicate with our community as well as showcase our reputation. So, what are waiting for! Have KOZ fix your iPhone activesync issue!

Do you wan to put an end to unexpected downtime, network problems, Small Business Server crashes, Virus Threats, and other computer disaster finally and forever.
Growing sales, keeping customers and cutting costs are all that really count. Given these priorities, having to deal with other less obvious business risks has taken a back seat for many small business owners. Like having staff wasting time on the Internet, while you’re out closing deals.

TechnoKOZ has a aggressive “disaster prevention” network monitoring and maintenance service plan called TechnoCare.

We have already have saved a considerable amount of money in lost downtime, made numerous small businesses around the Phoenix metro (Gilbert, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Scottsdale, Phoenix,) networks much more reliable, and reduced the number of problem they were experiencing. [ALL because of our TechnoCare plan]

Protect you from malicious incoming Internet threats such as viruses, spyware, hackers, identity thieves and more.

Monitor Apps & Network
Monitor online behavior at the user, client and incident level. You can see what web sites are being visited, by whom, on what system.

Control your Network
Restrict access to inappropriate sites, manage when certain sites can be accessed, and control undesirable Internet activity, like web shopping during work hours.

We are highlighting some erroneous iphone 2.0 and Exchange 2003 ActiveSync information found on a neighboring web site. “Looking for the solution for syncing your iphone with exchange server 2003. Here is some helpful information and links to some great sources out on the net:”

This site goes on to provide some bizzar steps on iPhone ActiveSync setup

1. Download Active Sync 4.5 if you havent already: Download Activesync Here

2. Install / Setup Activesync on your exchange 2003 server. How to do it – Exchange Active Sync Setup

3. Setup Your iphones:

a. Go to Setting, Mail, Add Account, Microsoft Exchange

b. Email address: your@email.com

Username: username

Password: exchange password

Display: Auto fill

c.

if you are not using exchange 2007 then the iphone willl most likely not find you server automatically (and may not even with exchange 07). Go to the Server Field:

Instead of entering the server name (ie: mail.server.com) use the external ipaddress of your server. Refer again to step number 2 if you do not have the correct ports open on your firewall that are forwarding to your exchange server.

4. You should be done!

A word from TechnoKOZ

1. Don’t need to download anything regarding ActiveSync and Exchange other than Service Pack 2 for Exchange from Microsoft’s site:

Iphone Exchange Service Pack 2 Download

2. This site is just trying to get you to click on their google ads.

It is too bad someone is trying to clog up google with worthless information. So if you see this disregard his post.

And the post on Apple’s Discussion forum where the person says: “Change the number of Sync days to no limit” will fix the cannot connect to server errors. Again, this is wrong.

Give us a call and we will fix your iPhone and Exchange issues quickly: 480.440.4650 // Skype: TECHNOKOZ

This iPhone and Exchange Setup with ActiveSync has created quite the finger pointing event for both Microsoft and Apple. Neither company wants the other to succeed. Yet, the business woman or man is reaping the pain of the iPhone Exchange Setup.

TechnoKOZ tried unsuccessfully in ending your iphone setup pain with Apple. We contacted and spoke with Larry, a Senior Vice President of Apple Retail Sales. He half listen to your pain. He referred your problem to Mo an up an coming Apple Genius Bar manager, who acknowledges there is no real big IPHONE SETUP ISSUES WITH EXCHANGE.

Here is an excerpt from our discussion:

Email to Larry:

Mo and I recently spoke. After speaking with Mo, MS Exchange integration issues with the iphone appear to be non existent from the genius level. I was wondering if you could refer my contact information to one of your enterprise sales executives to discuss solutions. I still receive calls each day from major corporations across the USA with iPhone & Exchange integration issues.

Response from Larry:

I don’t understand your point. What does non existent from the Genius level mean?

Email to Larry:

Mo said that the call center and the local Genius (level) / bar has not experienced the pain I see each day. Since this exchange integration is new to the iPhone, I was hoping to assist you through some of the pain.

There was nothing wrong with Mo, he was great and very helpful. I quickly determined after speaking with him the retail level might not see much need for my assistance.

Response from Mo:

Robert, as per our earlier discussion, I will discuss with our business team.
If there is a need, they will contact you to discuss.
Thanks
Mo

Email to Larry and Mo:

Prefect. I figured with the recent BlackBerry release, there might be a renewed demand for our exchange enterprise solutions.
Look forward to the call,

As you can see, Larry was willing to listen, however, he had to stand behind his up and coming Genius boy, who knows nothing about iPhone and Exchange integration.
