More strange IIS error messages coming from OMA (Outlook Mobile Access) when trying to configure a customer’s Apple Iphone 3G with Microsoft Exchange 2003. The latest one is “Outlook(R) Mobile Access is supported only on Microsoft(R) Exchange Server 2003. Currently your mailbox is stored on an older version of Exchange server. Please contact your system administrator for additional assistance.”
This difficult problem even took us some time to fix.

While working on another iPhone 3G Repair we happen to encounter a secondary issue. This “Loading” message while accessing Outlook Web Access (OWA) from Internet Explorer 6.0 client.
Very strange, none of the mail folders would appear. Finally determined that OWA within IIS needed to be updated. This hotfix enables a new editor for Internet Explorer. The new editor uses an Internet Explorer “iframe” instead of an ActiveX control. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911829
