I gave it my best shot with my iPhone exchange setup. I knew I needed to call engineers that could get me working.

I have SBS 2003 - I was trying to get Activesync to push to iPhone 3G.

1. purchsed and installed certificate
2. modified /oma to no use SSL
3. tried many-many combinations of settings in iPhone
continues to fail on connection and prompts for password.

After 40 minutes they fixed my problem. wow, i'm impressed.
