Why does my 802.11g wireless network have occasional short periods of low signal strength? –> My 802.11g wireless network has excellent signal strength most of the time. One or twice a day it completely loses the connection or is degraded to a very low signal strength for a few minutes at a time. I live in a typical townhouse environment with typical appliances?
Answer: Can be numerous problems, but probably a neighbor’s cordless phone is interfering with your wireless reception. Try repositioning your access point. Just like any transmitter, it is susceptible to electron noise.
When I click on my Microsoft IE browser lately I can’t connect with the internet? Lately I have to unplug the modem, etc?

Answer: Does the web browser launch your default internet connection? Check this first. Start | Settings | Control Panel | Internet options | Connections
High-light your dialup connection & Set it as default. Then select the option “Always dial my default connection”. If you have no connections, you will need to create one.
Has anyone heard of a spyware virus called “MidAddle”? If so how can I remove it from my computer?
I have had this spyware of my computer for a long tie now, and I find that my computer keeps on getting slower, and slower. I really want to get rid of this spyware virus from my computer right away! Thanks!
Answer: Run the YAHOO Anti Spyware utility. I have had good success with this tool. If this doesn’t work, try Spybot or Microsoft’s Defender product.

Answer: If you plan on wiping the drive clean (don’t care about the information on the drive) and plan on installing Microsoft XP, insert /boot from the XP cdrom, when given the opportunity to delete the partition, delete it, recreate the partition and then select the option to format.
Wireless network adapter icon is gray out in system tray?
Answer: Is the wireless adapter disabled? Check the settings by selecting Start | Settings | Control Panel | Network connections | Right click on the wireless connection — IF disabled, enable. If enabled, try disable and then enable.
Still doesn’t work, you might try downloading the driver from the web and then uninstall the driver (reboot) and then reinstall. Typically the reinstall routine will solve 99% of these types of wireless issues, especially when you are missing the TCPIP protocol.

How do I configure a mailbox to forward to a mail-enabled contact?
1. Start Active Directory Users and Computers mmc snap-in
2. Right-click the mail-enabled user, and then click Properties.
3. Click the Exchange General tab.
4. Click Delivery Options.
5. In the Forwarding Address section, Click Forward to, and then Click Modify
6. Click the mail-enabled user or the mail-enabled contact. Then click OK.
If you want email to be delivered to the original mailbox as well as the forwarding address, select the Deliver messages to both forwarding address and mailbox.
7. Click Ok two times to complete the process.
