Symantec AntiVirus installation issues
Mesa, Arizona Computer Repair: Having troubles installing the latest Symantec anti virus software (Norton Corporate Edition 10). Receiving error messages during the installation process.
| I have had to use this tool many times with Computer Repair Service Phoenix Arizona while on a onsite computer repair visit. Try using the Norton uninstall tool. This tool uninstalls ALL Norton 2004/2005/2006 products from your computer. If you see a yellow bar at the top of the window with a message about ActiveX controls, click the bar and then click Install ActiveX control. When a small box appears, click Install. When you see “Do you want to run this software,” click Run or Yes. When you see “Downloading files. This may take several minutes,” click OK. When you see “This will install Symantec LiveUpdate on your computer,” click Yes. When you see “Welcome to Norton Removal Tool,” click Next.Click I accept the License Agreement, and click Next. Type the letters and numbers that you see in the white box, and then click Next. You may need to click a button more than once, and your computer may be restarted more than once. |
