Another strange Microsoft Exchange IIS error HTTP status code: [500]. The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

This is another frustrating error message. No indication on where to start. Is it the certificate? Nope, probably not. Is it the service pack. Again, probably not. This error code means that the meta data for what you are trying to access is unavailable. What, unavailable. OWA, probably works, but for some reason other meta data is not functioning within IIS. - The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
This is the pure non IIS definition of the error. Doesn’t point to much other than something on Exchange is incorrect. Please review exchange settings.
